About the Spencers
Phil and Maranda Spencer have been part of the FFG family for 20 years, stepping into their roles as Connection Leaders shortly after joining. Phil, a Williamsburg, VA native, is an Air Force veteran and retired law enforcement officer who now works as the Security Manager for Maverick Power. Maranda grew up in Josephine and happily brought Phil back to Texas as soon as she could; she currently works locally as a Market Manager at the American National Bank of Texas. Together, they share a daughter, Avery, who recently married her husband, Zachary, and a son, Grant, who is pursuing an aviation degree at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA). The Spencer’s are deeply involved in the community, with Phil and Maranda volunteering in Kid Street alongside Avery and Zachary.
This Session's Content
Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler
This 6-session Bible study clearly defines the saving power of the gospel and then articulates what the gospel does for believers after salvation. This study will also challenge you to embrace and rely on the gospel to grow in Christlikeness, to persevere in your faith, to serve others in the power of Christ, and to celebrate your eternal redemption.
Our Connection Groups are a place for you to find a community with like-minded followers of Christ as you grow your faith.
A typical evening with your Connection Group will consist of having time to hang out, eat, and followed by the session's video curriculum along with group discussion.
