About Melinda
I have been a member of FFG since 4th of July weekend 1986. I have been in ministry here since January 1989, serving as a children’s Sunday School teacher (20 years), Singles Sunday School leader, nursery worker, women’s connection group leader, and women’s mentor/discipleship leader. I love to teach God’s Word and to help women find their niche in serving the Church!
Our FFG Ladies Connection group has met continuously in my home every other Friday night since Fall 2014, when our church first started connection groups.
We focus on learning and applying God’s Word, supporting each other, and having fun! We have ladies of all ages and backgrounds. We are always looking for new friends to join our group!

Explicit Gospel by Matt Chandler
This 6-session Bible study clearly defines the saving power of the gospel and then articulates what the gospel does for believers after salvation. This study will also challenge you to embrace and rely on the gospel to grow in Christlikeness, to persevere in your faith, to serve others in the power of Christ, and to celebrate your eternal redemption.
Our Connection Groups are a place for you to find a community with like-minded followers of Christ as you grow your faith.
A typical evening with your Connection Group will consist of having time to hang out, eat, and followed by the session's video curriculum along with group discussion.
